We at OG+S spent quite a bit of time and energy building our Points of Culture. Because a group of people are always going to have a culture so we wanted ours to be intentional. Then to keep our intentional culture top of mind, we have an interview question about them, we talk about them intentionally each week. You will hear references to our Points of Culture sprinkled in conversations throughout the week, too. It helps us keep our company being what we want it to be.
Sometimes, however, things take an interesting turn. Sam Kavalier is a big fan of bicycling. Big. He bikes when it’s hot, cold, rainy, snowy. Doesn’t matter, he’s on his trusty two-wheeler. We love it. After all, a part of our culture is to “Geek out. Continuously learn. Enthusiastically share.” So he does. We got OG+S bike jerseys for those who wanted them – even if they didn’t bike.
We are also very goal oriented. OK, Erin is very goal oriented, but everyone sees the advantage of having goals and action plans to achieve them. After all we want to “Be the reason it works.”
So we have a person who loves biking, a person who loves new goals, and a team that thrives on solving challenges. That means fun things are going to happen. Well, agreeing something is “fun” probably depends on agreeing on the definition of “fun.” If your definition if fun includes exploring the world on two wheels or doing challenging things with friends, then come along and geek out with us. Erin is training for riding RAGBRAI this summer (her first time). Sam is exploring the Twin Cities. We’re going to have fun with our Instagram and Facebook accounts by showing these adventures, and we invite you to join us as #OGSgeeksout.
