In true OG+S form, we are experimenting with them. The experiment is that we are charging for them. We haven’t done so in the past, but we have listened to some pretty smart clients, coaches, and friends telling us to do so. However, as per usual, we have added a twist. Something that isn’t clear from the EventBrite pages is that for the $10, we will email a $5 gift certificate to Starbucks to you as an attendee so you can enjoy the “free” coffee you usually get at a seminar. Then we are going to donate the remaining proceeds (minus the ever present processing fees that EventBrite charges) to a non-profit. If it works well, then we are going to use the model going forward. If it doesn’t, then we will quietly let it ride into the sunset.

We hope to see you there, but we also would love to hear your thoughts about this approach.
